How to cancel a lesson

At musicly, we’ve taken a fresh approach to in-school tuition and how we support our customers. Cancelling a lesson is easier than ever so that where possible, parents only get charged for what they’ve used. We believe it’s important to give clarity and flexibility to monthly billing. You pay for lessons left in the diary at the end of the month, it’s that simple.

To cancel a lesson, please follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Login to musicly.

Navigate to the musicly.uk login page here, enter your details and log in.

This is the musicly login page found via the “musicly Login” button in the top-right of our website.

Step Two - Navigate to the calendar.

Once logged in, you’ll arrive at the homepage. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a calendar button, this will take you to your calendar view. From here, you’ll be able to select a lesson and view the details. Then find the lesson you’d like to cancel and click it to view your cancellation options.

The chosen lesson has been selected and you now have the option to cancel.

Step Three - Cancel Lesson.

The final step is to cancel the lesson. Firstly find and select the lesson in question. You’ll see a red box at the bottom of the selected booking saying “Cancel Lesson”.

Click “Cancel Lesson”, and the process will be complete. Your lesson is now removed from the diary, and you won’t be charged for it on your upcoming invoice.

*Please note we require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, after this, the booking will remain in the diary and our teachers must be paid for their time.

Once you click confirm the lesson will be taken out of the diary and you wont be charged.

What happens if I try to cancel after the 48 hours cancellation period?

Below you’ll see what happens when you try to cancel the lesson after the 48 hours - at this point, we are required to pay our amazing teachers for their time at the school and sadly can’t offer reschedules, credits or refunds.

48 hours cancellation window missed. The system will inform you that the 48 hours have passed, and you’ll be charged for this lesson.
